Wondering how to edit this département entry? The Wikipedia:WikiProject French departements standards might help.

Haute-Corse vs. Upper Corsica[edit]

Haute-Corse is the official administrative name of the department, and as such, should be used as the title. This is consistent with all other French deparment names, as well as all French communes. "Upper Corsica" may refer to the area covered by the department, but there is no such thing as an "Upper Corsica" department. I am reverting all these non previously discussed changes from "Haute-Corse" to "Upper Corsica". olivier (talk) 06:55, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
