Wikification & Neutralisation

I have just come across this article and intend to improve internal linking and formatting, as well as attempting to return the article to a more neutral stance, (despite my own very negative assersions about Helen Ukpabio and her organisation). -- Mender (talk) 19:42, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

I have completed a 1st draft re-write of the article and removed the 'wikify' template. However, I have not removed the neutrality template, as it is only right for someone else to judge whether I have successfully returned the article to a neutral state.
Please have a look at it and if you think it's neutral enough as it stands, take away the template! I also removed the stub notice as the article is now more than just a few lines. -- Mender (talk) 21:51, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Helen Ukpabio - killing children must be mentioned

Hey Mender, you must be out of your mind to be so moderate. This kind of objective and non evaluative talk about people like Helen Ukpabio can ruin so much for many children - this article will kill people. It absolutely tells a wrong story about one of the most dangerous people in Africa.

You seriously need to give something more with wiki than objective lies. Please do not take this personally. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.242.49.147 (talk) 21:29, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

I wish I could be more emotive - I share your feelings about Ukpabio and her organisation, what is happening in Nigeria and throughout Africa is truly deplorable.
However, in order to adhere to Wikipedia's policy on the biographies of living persons, I had to try to keep it neutral when I contributed to this article. Looking at things from a step back and backing stuff up with real evidence is the way to go. --Mender (talk) 01:56, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Causation

We cannot say that she caused a dramatic increase in kids being branded witches. That is too matter-of-fact with too little proof. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tabouz1 (talkcontribs) 17:32, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

UNICEF Study

In 2010 a study performed by Unicef mentions the practices of Helen Ukpabio and calls it a "business" (p. 40). Shouldn't this be mentioned in the article? Suchergebnisse
