Clean-up

[edit]

I've tried to remove less important sections and have fact-tagged some material that really needs a source. The article generally needs to quote its sources, as well.

The nav box at the end is interesting; what criteria are used to determine whether someone is a founder of the A.S.? I have removed some people who either don't qualify (if a high bar is set), or if they do (using a low bar), then along with dozens or hundreds of others. This should be discussed further; I have left the Executive Board of the A.S. in 1924. What about the directors of the first A.S. (1913)? hgilbert (talk) 12:47, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speculation and hearsay information about who attended what conference years ago really don't belong in the article. Could we begin to find sources for material? hgilbert (talk) 12:23, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
