Elections on 2 March 2007

[edit]

Actually I'm waiting for the presidential election results to see if there are changes in government after that and will update the article and possibly template. --ssr (talk) 16:24, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I guess there will be some changes under president-in-waiting Medvedev, but they should be written in the according template (Template:Executive Authorities of Russia) and article (Government of Russia). Superzohar Talk 19:21, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The article has and need to be deleted. All it's material already exists in the article Government of Russia. Superzohar Talk 13:36, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Historical structures of Governments of the Russian Federation contains the further pro/contra deletion opinions. --ssr (talk) 11:02, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Medvedev-Putin reshufflement, May 2008

[edit]

As I expected, the structure changed after recent inauguration. I plan to deal with this here later this week, if someone wants to do some earlier, welcome. --ssr (talk) 05:52, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Federal subjects

[edit]

I don't have time at the moment to add this material (I'm horribly out of date as my professional research on Russia ended in 2002), but I really think that an article with this title needs to cover the changes in federal structure (the number and composition of subjects, the super-regions, the election/selection of regional heads etc.). For the experience of living in Russia (unless one is a bureaucrat) such changes probably have had more impact on everyday life than changes in the distribution of ministerial responsibility. Is any of the information you look for linked from the Template:Russia topics? Please, go on and add the information you have despite it's outdated. Just state that that is historical information. If there's something interesting, please do add! --ssr (talk) 03:30, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I was thinking more of detailing the changes in boundaries, the attempts to promote regional groupings, and the methods of election/selection of regional heads.VsevolodKrolikov (talk) 04:25, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
