Seal, Trumpets but not Bowls

[edit]

It was the Bowls I came here looking for info on. I want to know how often Hisotricists see the Jerusalem Earthquake during the Reign of Sulieman the Magnificent as the 7th Bowl of God's Wrath.--JaredMithrandir (talk) 18:39, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reference to the Roman Catholic Exorcism against Satan & the Apostate Angels

[edit]

Hi. I think the article may be integrated with a reference to the Roman Catholic Exorcism against Satan & the Apostate Angels, in Latin Exorcismus in satanam et angelos apostaticos.

The related WP article Prayer to Saint Michael, and here] there is an unofficial translation into english. The exorcism doesn't mention thw word "Antichrist" explicitly, but it states:

  • in the English translation: Transformed into an angel of light, with the entire horde of wicked spirits he goes about everywhere and takes possession of the earth, so that therein he may blot out the Name of God and of His Christ and steal away, afflict and ruin unto everlasting destruction the souls destined for a crown of eternal glory./

His most crafty enemies have engulfed the Church, the Spouse of the Immaculate Lamb, with sorrows; they have drenched her with wormwood; on all her desirable things they have laid their wicked hands. .Where the See of the Blessed Peter and the Chair of Truth have been set up for the light of the Gentiles, there they have placed the throne of the abomination of their wickedness, so that, the Pastor having been struck, they may also be able to scatter the flock.

Hence, the ancient prayer affirms that Satan and his angels were fallen down into Earth, where he become the socalled Prince of the World. He wants to delete the name of Jesus Christ on His believers. In order to scatter the Church, His flock, it is prophetized that Satan would have done all what is in his power to take thw possession of the Holy See, founded by Peter the Apostle (Cefa) ,as the first Pope nominated by Chirst.

The prayer doesn't specify if this control of the Holy See would take place by:

  1. a man who serves Satan and worships him instead of God;
  2. directly by Satan (or one of his angels) in a human appearence.

Among the existing biblical references to this case of angels atheophanies, we have St Raphael the Archangel in the Book of Tobit.

It has to be found a realible source yet, but there is no matter that this is at least an indirect reference to the Antichrist.

The above link, which comes from "Pope with the Antichrist", under "Antichrist", loops back to itself. This needs changing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LiamCorbettWiki (talkcontribs) 21:39, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
