This is the most detailed local history article which I have seen on Wikipedia, and it wouldn't take much for it to reach featured-article standard. However, while it has a long list of references, it has no footnotes, so it is unclear which references support which facts of the articles, and as a result I can only rate it as start-class for now. With footnotes, it would undoubtedly be a B-class article, and could immediately be a good article candidate. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 16:52, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
