[edit]I have no opinion about the division into a Rhenish and Westphalian part - however the article completely ignores the Ruhr Area, which developed in both part since the early/mid 19th-century and was reason for the creation of the state? Just found History of the Ruhr District, which looks a lot more comprehensive than this one.
The current historical sections for Westphalia also have some contextual mistakes: Pro-/Early history for Westphalia may have terminated with Varus, Charlmagne is def. part of the Middle Ages, and the Peace of Westphalia belongs into Early modern.
Since the entire article is copied into the NRW article (or the other way around), any corrections will need to be updated in both articles. --ZH2010 (talk) 15:24, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
Then add something about the Ruhr area. Don't be afraid of being Bold. Kingjeff (talk) 18:02, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
I didn't want this article. in my opinion a section in NRW is enough. The creator of this article has to make sure it is right. --ZH2010 (talk) 19:26, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
"The creator of this article has to make sure it is right" means I would mean have to take ownership of the article which is against Wikipedia policy. Sometimes article require boldness. Kingjeff (talk) 22:50, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
No, thats not what i meant. If i put something on here, i have to make sure it is correct. Generally speaking (!), I dont think people may create lousy articles and have other clean it up. did you see this? --ZH2010 (talk) 23:02, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
