True-breeding bay

[edit]

I know Pedigree Query isn't RS but this [1] shows that HTF was a "true-breeding" bay. Tigerboy1966  20:45, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please reconcile the dates.

In the "Stud" section, I find:

"Successful as a sire and as a broodmare sire, he was the leading juvenile sire in North America in 1981 and the leading broodmare sire in 1987."

He died in 1980, so how do we fix this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.20 (talk) 22:45, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As we are talking about their offspring/offspring of their daughters, sires can be leading sires or leading broodmare sires after their death. Edwarddutton (talk) 08:55, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
