I'm a lil disturbed about the article... what the hell makes you so sure that Saint Jimmy is the Alter Ego of Jesus?

Did Billie Joe tell it to you? If yes, congratulations i'll take it that way...

But if it isn't that way ( and I'm very sure it isn't) and you don't answer this article within 2 WEEKS i feel free to edit the article the way i think it's meant to be....

I'd say Jos/St. Jimmy is schizophrenic, no? that, or the character could be coming-of-age or becoming a different person. OR! this character could be diminishing the 'bad' side of himself, ie St. Jimmy representing his 'rage' ...OR! the character could be saying bye-bye to both Jesus of Suburbia and St. Jimmy ie, "you're not the Jesus of Suburbia" in the song, Letterbomb. I filled out the infobox as best as I could. However, could people who know more about Green Day (and have been participating in this article) provide citations for some of the interpretational material within the article? Also, the tone of discourse on this talk page is fairly harsh; please remember to be civil. Factual Error

In the introduction to this article, the drummer is named as Mike Dirnt and the bassist is named as Tre' Cool (which is an error on it's own: It should be Tré Cool). These names are incorrect, and need to be swapped around.

Mike Dirnt and "Nobody Likes You"

He does sing "Nobody Likes You" on the album and live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNO1H-BVLx4&search=Homecoming%20live That performance sounds very similar to the one on the album, and if you listen closely on the slbum, you can tell there is a difference in singing between "Nobody Likes You" and the other sections in the song. Concept of Song

This song continues with the storyline of the album. I believe that St. Jimmy is the part of Jesus of Suburbia/Jimmy that basicly dies, and is forgotten. "Jesus Filling Out Paperwork Now," could be St. Jimmy's papers, as Jimmy himself is still alive. They desribe the last few encounters and experiences of his journey, and he heads back home to Jingle Town.
