New to page
[edit]Hello to anyone that has any interest in the 7th gen accord or 4th gen inspire. I have felt like this page has needed a bit more love and wanted to contribute any bit I could. I hope to be a good resource and source finder for this article Kooruzoo (talk) 14:36, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
Changes to 4th Gen
[edit]I'm going to just briefly explain changes I've made to whomever it may concern, while also detailing some needed revisions.
I found it necessary to update information on regards to trim levels, powertrain, and stylings that differentiate it from its USDM counterpart. I also did some cleanup towards the end because "In September 2002, a straight-4 DOHC i-VTEC 2.4 L K24A engine was made available on the USA-spec vehicle only." and "This model was also sold in parts of Southeast Asia as the Honda Accord with the 2.0L, 2.4L and 3.0L I-VTEC engines." are not significant to a Japanese variant of a car that doesn't include above powertrains.
I've redirected to the 7th gen accord for further reading so the focus is more focused, and inviting to include a footnote or redirection of the Southeast Asia variant. We need to keep the focus on the Inspire, and if we want to talk about the Accord, have the information on the appropriate version. I understand that the JDM version may be rebadged as an Accord in SEA, but it needs reliable sourcing. Otherwise, information may be more appropriate if mentioned on the Accord page rather.
Also, there is a lot of dead links in this section. I did some cleanup and linked to VCM instead, but I have not messed with the CMBS section too much, but I think it can be condensed considerably and link to the technology instead of defining it all within this page. So the main thing is updating to working links and trimming the fat some more.
If you've read this, thank you for your time. And I invite you to help bring this article a bit more up to snuff. Kooruzoo (talk) 14:57, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
