Exact Location
[edit]For the sake of privacy, as we are currently living in the house, we'd prefer if the exact location wasn't posted on the main wikipedia article. For example, I removed a geotag. General references to the general area the home is in are totally fine - but simply for the sake of security, we'd appreciate it if any editors would refrain from posting either the exact address or the GPS coords. Thanks! Spiral5800 (talk) 08:45, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
- That's fine by me. By the way i moved the article to "Hooper House (Baltimore County, Maryland)" to be more accurate in naming. Alternative of "Hooper House (Bare Hills, Maryland)" would be okay too if Bare Hills is the town, but I am surprised to find Bare Hills, Maryland is currently a red-link--there's no article for it--so i suspect Bare Hills is a neighborhood or non-incorporated community. --doncram (talk) 14:25, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
sources for article
[edit]The Maryland Inventory of Historic Properties has some writeup available. It is not much, mostly a quote from also-included scanned copy of page 254 about this house from A Guide to Baltimore Architecture (Centerville, 1981) by John Dorsey and James D. Dilts. Perhaps this link will work for searching to find it in their system. --doncram (talk) 14:25, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
