Name -no railway line[edit]

Can this "idiocy" be avoided where the place has to be named "railway station" because a railway company owned it. And the tying words in knots whilst the article has to explain that the thing doesn't have any railway lines. eg " It was not a railway station at all, just a ticket office ..." - this can be avoided.

I was an official destination on railway company timetables. That isn't a reason to start using a confusing title. It appears on timetables/tickets as "Hull Victoria Pier" etc not "Hull Victoria Pier railway station".

Is there a better title for this, Victoria Pier ferry terminal is one option?

Please would you hold off moving railway station pages without discussing the moves first? We do have some established conventions, and it would be appreciated if these conventions were maintained. --Redrose64 (talk) 22:53, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
