Article needs to be retitled
[edit]Should be retitled to Hush (song) so the entire history of the song can be included. It is not just a Deep Purple song. A rocked up version of the country song was released by the Australian band Somebody’s Image a year before Deep Purple. See http://www.poparchives.com.au/feature.php?id=499

Focus of article
[edit]This was not just a Deep Purple song and has been pointed out DP was in fact the sixth group to record it. Therefore the focus of the article should be about the song and not just Deep Purple's version of it. 150.101.65.68 02:26, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
The Deep Purple template is not necessary. This is not an article about Deep Purple. Dbromage 06:48, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
But, REALLY! the Deep Purple version is THE BEST KNOWN version, so most people would find this page while looking at Deep Purple material. (darryl24.114.71.168 (talk) 18:50, 12 January 2019 (UTC) )
Additional Versions
[edit]I know a female country vocalist recorded the song and had a hit w/ it on the country charts in the early-to-mid 1970s, but I don't remember her name. REM may have also done the song at some point in the late 1990s or early 2000s. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lynmarenjensen (talk • contribs) 03:05, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
