I have removed the unsourced addition that some of the board members were Jewish. We normally don't include religion unless it's relevant. Also, the phrase The Council of the Gods was the title of a 1950 movie, but there's nothing here to indicate the phrase was used to describe the board outside of that context. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 10:25, 23 April 2017 (UTC)

I recommend that you first read the article before making edits based on inaccurate assumptions. As cited in the section in question, the supervisory board members called themselves (somewhat semi-ironically) the council of Gods (Rat der Götter). This already existent and well-known designation from the 1920s was precisely the reason that the 1950 East German film used that designation as its title.
Also, the claim that it is "unsourced" that the individuals in question (who were major figures in the company's founding and history) were Jewish is patently false; for example the Jewish background (and fate during the Nazi regime) of Arthur von Weinberg is discussed in his own article; footnotes for obvious material found in the individuals' own biographies wouldn't belong in an image caption in this article in any event (image captions rarely include footnotes). As for the relevance, their Jewishness had major importance for their biographies under the Nazi regime, including their role in relation to this company, for example being forced out of the supervisory board. --Matthew Douglas-Hamilton (talk) 01:26, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
