Valid edits reverted by Vandalism bots

[edit]

I changed the name of the character from Negro Jim to Nigger Jim twice now, and each time my edits have been immediately reverted back as supposed vandalism. While I can obviously see that as a common word a troublemaker would use on Wikipedia, my use of the word is an actual legitimate contribution, and I am wondering if there is in fact any way to make an honest edit of the article without fear of programs buggin' it up.

Not Vandalism

[edit]

The changes that I made earlier today do not constitute vandalism, in that it was stated in the commentary on the Freakin' Sweet Collection that it was spelled Ironbachs, as a way to slip by the censors. Redsox00002 23:31, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ok i verified it at the familyguy.com episodeguide, so change it back then, thanks Grande13 23:39, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Huckleberry Finn reference?

[edit]

When Peter and his friends are at the night club, Peter says that "boating was in his blood ever since his great grandfather Huck Griffin rafted down the mighty Mississippi".. and the cutaway is a reference to the book and/or movie "Huckleberry Finn" —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.25.36.54 (talk) 08:25, 8 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

The Huckleberry Finn reference DOES correspond to a specific scene in the novel. Huckelberry apologizes to Jim for using the N-word. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.76.96.16 (talk) 20:45, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nip/Suck

[edit]

What about Peter making Stewie suck his nipple? Wasn't that in this episode? Should I put it up? I don't see it in the summary now. StrongBad27 20:35, 19 June 2007 (UTC

It's not important to the plot and thus has no need to be included.203.53.167.180 06:07, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Million man march

[edit]

Doesn't Peter's speech result in him being chased out of town as a result of perceived racism? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.13.219.100 (talkcontribs)

Fair use rationale for Image:FGIAmPeterHearMeRoar.png

[edit]

Image:FGIAmPeterHearMeRoar.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Please leave it be, it's the only picture we have in the article, and believe me the article would suck without a pic. TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 21:23, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
