How does notability work? I didn't post that link (though I am Angry Metal Guy), but why are my reviews any less notable than anyone else's? Bands send me their stuff, I review stuff for labels, I have been cited around Wikipedia. I just don't see why there would be any reason to question the notability of my review. --130.243.188.102 (talk) 16:38, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- First off, thanks for your interest. Well, it was placed in the wrong place. There is a section in the infobox that is dedicated to the reviews of albums. Reviews should not be posted in external link sections in such a manner. If it is put in the infobox, then it may be worthy of staying there. Also, where are some of the places that you have been cited at? Sorry about any potential inconvenience, by the way. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 23:03, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
USA Progressive Music
[edit]Would it be notable according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Review sites to keep the USA Progressive Music review? It isn't featured on the list of those that shouldn't be referenced for reviews. What is your input? BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 22:52, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi, I'm not sure I understand you (English isn't my native language) and I'm not sure if you ask me (I added link to USA Progessive Music review). I think review in "USA Progressive Music" is very professional where author, as only one, decoded all things hidden behind every song on album and cover art. By the other hand, music played by Indukti isn't mainstream music, so you don't find its reviews in maggazines like Rolling Stone, Kerrang or Billborad. In All Music Guide you can find only Indukti's discography without any comments. So if it is niche music and not reviewed by the biggest magazines (there are some profesional reviews in other languages, like Polish edition of Metal Hammer or Greece Rock Way magazine) and US Progressive Music isn't on list of "Non-professional reviews" I'll leave that link because it is rich source of knowledge about this album. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cozy64 (talk • contribs) 09:42, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- First off, I was talking to anyone who was interested (obviously you're in the scope of such a group); if I have a personal message for you, I would post it on your user talk page. SEcondly, I can easily agree with your reasoning to keep the review there. Thanks. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 20:23, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
