I would ordinarily quickfail this article.

The WP:LEAD at 682 characters of readable prose does not adequately summarize the 15314 characters of readable prose in the main body. This LEAD should be about 2 or three paragraphs and 1500 to 2000 characters, IMO.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 08:02, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In light of the Colonialism vs imperialism section File:Colonial Africa 1913 map.svg is quite puzzling. It has a rather meaningless WP:CAPTION that points to an article about "process of invasion, occupation, colonization and annexation of African territory" after you said that was not what this article was about.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 08:02, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
