[edit]- The whole first chapter seems to be a copy from the Naval Historical Center and/or the globalsecurity site. I wonder if this is a violation of someone's copyright...? --Lord Flashheart from german wikipedia —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.177.180.135 (talk) 22:53, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Here is a question I have been searching for an answer. In the movie Magnum Force, you see Dirty Harry run up into one of the CVL's after being chased by the bad cops. Apparently they are there to be scrapped and you can see Dirty Harry race through the hanger and up onto the flight deck. Now the question is: does anyone know what the names of those two ships were? - Update, I did some research and found that the two carriers in the film were CVE's not CVL's and at least one ship was the USS Siboney, CVE 112. The other one could not be positively identified. Brothejr (talk) 15:40, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
