The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Influenza A virus subtype H6N2/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The following statement is not true: "H6N2 is an avian influenza virus with two forms: one has a low and the other a high pathogenicity." Only two hemagglutinin (H) subtypes have been associated with high pathogenicity - H5 and H7. There is no known high pathogenicity H6 virus.
