Come on, Ivo Pitanguy is the best brazilian plastic surgeon, whith worldwide recognition! He is also one of the pioneers in Plastic Surgery - and many techniques were developed by him. I just had to remove a lot of copy from this article that made it sound like an advert for Pitanguy. He does seem to be notable, but this article needs proper references, not just promotional junk from his own website. This isn't about what Pitanguy "deserves": all articles on Wikipedia "deserve" a neutral point of view and formal souces. -- TinaSparkle (talk) 21:30, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Ivo Pitanguy deserves its own article, but it should not only be about pushing his reputability. But I don't think this site has not been made about this only - because, who wants to fly to this tiny island for an surgery? Many people - yes - but surely not caused by an Wiki article. I think it is more about promoting his products, which he is selling worldwide with a middle success. He is selling products,(Proof here). So please let us gather only relevant high quality informations. I have asked him a few "investigational questions", which are hard to answer for an Plastic Surgants (even for ethical ones), a few weeks ago. Year of birth[edit]
