He also won the 2015 California Peace Officer Association COPSWEST Award for best solved cold case.[4] Reading the link says his department won this award, he isn't mentioned. - Indeed. The whole article is like this. Almost every source given is just to a book or TV show itself with no indication that he was specifically involved. The article needs major revision. At the moment it reads like it was written by the subject's PR team. Looking at the change history, most of the details are added by a user called "Forensic Faith" which is clearly affliated with the subject of the article. Ashmoo (talk) 11:47, 8 September 2022 (UTC)

- Thanks ForensicFaith for this extra explanation. However, wikipedia requires Verification from a Reliable source. We need a source that states that clearly states that he received the awards. If it is true the team won the award and not him, the the text should clearly state that. Ashmoo (talk) 11:21, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
