offers a viable (and in my opinion) a much more sensible approach to the epidemic of alcoholism and drug abuse. (see www.rational.org) Trimpey edures a tremendous amount of criticism from the entrenched Alcoholics Anonymous system, and its followers, which enjoy a virtual monolopoly on alcohol and drug addition.

Reads very biased and POV. A Wiki article is not a place for your personal opinion. Your opinion might be right (or wrong) but evidence needs to support the assertions you have made and you have not offered any evidence/support.

The article needs evidence that Trimpey endures "tremendous" criticism, and how do we distinguish good faith criticism from bad faith criticism? Criticism is not always a bad thing and sometimes it is well deserved. This article does not shed any light on that. Also, The "A.A. virtual monopoly" part is not supported of qualified either. A Wiki article should assume a Neutral Point Of View where the reader is allowed to draw threir own conclusion based on evidence and not opinion in the article.

If you get an account here these sorts of discussions will be greatly simplifed and more effective. Mr Christopher 14:36, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If Mr Christopher will clarify what he is unhappy with in the entry for Jack Trimpey, I will gladly elaborate. Is he looking for a ream of the criticisms that have been passed on Mr Trimpey? I can supply these but how many would be enough? In terms of AA monopoly, what specific type of data would Mr Christopher like me to provide? That AA is the dominant voice in the field of addiction treatment appears to me to be rather obvious, but I will gladly provide the type of data that Mr Christopher specifies would make him satisfied.
