The 140 and 141 Series were build parallel an had the same motorpower of 3000 hp. The 141 Boats were upgraded in the late 1960ies whith the 872 Motors to reach the Speed of 140 boats. The improved class was the 142 Zobel-class. The 140 had Mercedes Benz motors (MB 518 B) and the 141 had Maybach 871 motors listed here.--84.129.78.8 20:37, 8 June 2006 (UTC)Werwil[reply]

Inconsistency

[edit]

The article on Konrad Adenauer mentions the military vessels Kondor, Sperber and Seeadler that where used in his funeral and links here to explain them. Here, however, the list of boats includes none of those names. Something is therefore wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.36.148.117 (talk) 13:03, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Indonesian Use

[edit]

Indonesia is listed as a user of this class and one survives as a museum (KRI Harimau), but there's none listed in the table (the same problem exists with the claimed Saudi use). According to this source: https://www.indomiliter.com/jaguar-class-generasi-awal-kapal-cepat-torpedo-tni-al/ Indonesia had 8 of the class and were using them as early as 1961, which would imply that these vessels were in addition to the listed German boats, since none of those were decommissioned before the 1970s.
