French grammar

Are you sure you've got the party's name right? "Jeunesse" is a feminine noun in French and thus one would expect the accompanying adjective to have a feminine inflection to agree with the noun that it modifies; so Jeunesse gabonaise (note the E at the end, and unlike the masculine form without the E, the S is pronounced in the feminine form).

Notice also that I wrote the second word with a lowercase initial. This would be the usual pattern in French.

For a party's name, a definite article is likely optional; so there may or may not be a "La" at the beginning. Kelisi (talk) 05:20, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
