Censored: Gerbil Jumping off a Cliff

[edit]

I remember back in 99 seeing the cartoon of Gerbils jummping off a cliff and one says "Micky Mouse is just and Uncle Tom nigger etc etc". Shortly after this the cartoon was edited to remove the racial reference.

SupahFly!

[edit]

Does anyone know where to find the original SupahFly cartoon? --Bushido Hacks 08:21, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just go to the Superfly section in the Cartoons area, then click on "Superfly 1". —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.113.248.185 (talk) 12:08, August 20, 2007 (UTC)

Joe Lives in England

[edit]

I contacted Joe about this rumour and recieved a response stating that he was currently living in Michigan (as I had suspected) and so removed the Trivia section. I also feel that it is irrelevant since the article is about the website and not Joe himself. Thanks, Stu Hacking talk 08:36, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Donkey bong long

[edit]

I hadn't seen this particular cartoon in a long time and could have swore there was a 'musical number' after the pinning of the tail but before the gerbil launch. Can anyone tell me if I was just drunk and imagining things or not? 29 June 2007

The Song has been cut out, because Simon and Garfunkel claimed their Copyright... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.236.146.122 (talk) 09:20, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

For the same reason, if I am not erring, the Donkey Bong screen-saver has been unavailable for a while. ꟼsycho ㄈhi¢ken 😭 (talk) 13:42, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Censored: Joemamma & The 10-Pump BB Gun

[edit]

With the return of Joecartoon.com, this cartoon was edited to remove the Gerbil's Stevie Wonder impersonation and certain drinking scenes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.14.206.25 (talk) 20:33, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notes 1 and 2 (on the first sentence claiming Joe Cartoon to be "animated by Klasky Csupo and Mondo Media") point to articles that do not confirm the relation of either Klasky-Csupó or Mondo Media with Joe Cartoon.

A mention to Mondo Media was added at by Knowledgekid87 at 19:51, 22 June 2012, without any reference. Klasky and Csupó were addded by 88.104.3.86 at 08:10, 7 November 2015, without a valid source.

A really good source, mentioning Mondo Media but not Klasky-Csupó, is the Bob Cesca's article on HuffPost A Conversation with Legendary Animator 'Joe Cartoon' on Life, Music and Frogs in Blenders (01/07/2015 05:08 pm ET | Updated Mar 09, 2015).

This is the first time I use the Editing Talk page instead of editing because maybe someone mat know why these edits were made in the first place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lmviterbo (talkcontribs) 20:20, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Joe Shields - The Songwriter

[edit]

Howdy from France. I understand the redirection from Joe Shields to Joe Cartoon but find it obsolete, now. Joe is doing music in a way that merits coverage in an article on “Joe Shields”. Either merge something or – at least – mention somewhere that two records had been released and the guy continues working on new songs. Having no Facebook-account and not even a credit card to get some of that stuff for real, Wikipedia is – once again – just an additional, terrible deception. My English is worse than it may seem and I do not know enough to write that missing article :( --ꟼsycho ㄈhi¢ken 😭 (talk) 18:03, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
