Advertisement tag
I've removed all previously uncited lines (all had date tags of almost over a year, plenty of time for citations to be made if they were factual) and blatantly advertising statements that would only serve to promote the school and attract enrollment. I've added the tag to alert future editors that the article still contains some phrases written like an advertisemt, and to let anyone looking to reimplement those statements that readers are aware of the way the article was previously written. I will also be requesting semi protection for this article based on previous history of vandalism and reversal to reimplement such advertising statements. Nitroblu (talk) 08:11, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
Is this tag still necessary? It seems most advertising language has been removed by now, and the tone is on par with other college articles, e.g. Hunter College. Rcamilled (talk) 23:17, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
Removed advertisement tag. Article has been much improved since it was posted in 2012. No objections were given here. Rcamilled (talk) 21:36, 5 March 2013 (UTC)

- Could I add a link to this page from the Imette St. Guillen page? Maybe create a heading or sub-heading titled "Notable Student" or some such?--MurderWatcher1 21:41, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
- This article is very badly written. I removed most of the opinions, but there are next to no citations and some of the information seems suspect. Somebody needs to clean it up even more.70.107.0.34 (talk) 01:10, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Alumni
The list of alumni (most of whom are living) is unreferenced since June 2105. They need to have references (or at least substantiating references in the personal articles), or they need to go. Rhadow (talk) 22:29, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
- Verified a couple of alumni on the list. Several times I needed to get an archived version of the source, so updated the main article source. Ran out of time/energy for now though. Ravensfire (talk) 23:03, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
