Misrepresentation of facts
[edit]This bio had claimed that John R Quinn was a member of the Ku Klux Klan. That is a misrepresentation of the facts. According to this article in the Madera Tribune https://cdnc.ucr.edu/?a=d&d=MT19220508.2.26&e=-------en--20--1--txt-txIN-------- Quinn stated that he was unaware of the organization's true nature, he attended one meeting and never pursued membership, never paid dues, and never participated in any other activities. When he became aware that he was on the list and that the KKK was a violent racist org, he denounced it. GenerallyKate (talk) 18:37, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
