Right now the Works cited are even older than the Lisbon Treaty (1 December 2009) which changed the EU institutions' power balance, and strengthened the European Parliament. Judicial activism vs Judicial restraint is in any case a controversial subject, mostly based on subjective assessment. The cases section of this article mostly cites a single case. Suggesting to simply merge this into https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judicial_activism which also provides a more global view than this article. Xavdeman (talk) 18:01, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
