Trying to make sense of all this

[edit]

This article gives the album name as "Justin Hayward and Friends Sing the Moody Blues Classic Hits", shows a cover picture with text "Justin Hayward and Friends (and the Frankfort Rock Orchestra perform the hits of the) Moody Blues", and gives a release date of November 4, 2003 an Armou. (LastFM give a release date of December 2, 2003 on BMG International)

But here's an earlier release: here at MTV Artists we have no title given, but the cover picture text is "Justin Hayward and Friends Sing the Moody Blues Classic Hits (featuring the Frankfort Rock Orchestra)" so that matches this article's title but the release date is January 1, 1997 on ISBA. Here at AllMusic The same cover is used and the release date is also 1997 on ISBA.

And here's an earlier one: Here at Amazon we have a product description with the title "Justin Hayward & Friends Sing The Moody Blues Classic Hits" but the cover picture text is "Moody Blues -- Unplugged -- Classic Hits" and the release date is June 19, 1996 on Phantom Sound & Vision.

FWIW here is a Canadian release on May 16, 2000 on Koch Records. And so it goes.

If it was recorded "Cream Studios, Germany/Studio M, Germany/CAS Studio, Germany/Smetana Studio, Prag and Dolphin Studio" as the infobox says, how is a live album? (Unless what is meant is that it was mastered at those studios but it doesn't say that.) I therefore changed "live album" to "album". I also removed the picture in the infobox since it doesn't match the article title and this is confusing. Herostratus (talk) 19:48, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
