Patricians/plebes
[edit]Perhaps under historical inaccuracies there ought to be some discussion of the statement made by the Cicero character in which he says ""A low pleb in the Senate?..."
The fact is that there were already Plebes in the Senate and, as I recall, Cicero himself was one of them.
By the time of the events depicted in the series, the original purely Patrician character of the Senate had long been discarded.

And how about the celts??? I couldn't find anywhere that caesar ever nominated celts as senators.

Kalends/Ides
[edit]This has been bugging me for some time and I haven't found an appropriate discussion of this. Why, if Caesar was murdered on the Ides of March, or March 15, is the episode titled "Kalends of February", which, as I understand it, would be used to describe days prior to the 1st of February but after the 13th of January? Is there something in this episode that I missed? And if others are confused, should this be explained in the article?

I imagine that this is because our Gregorian February corresponds to Ancient (post Caesar) Rome's Julian Calendar March.
