More than 30000 Kannada inscriptions found, mainly inscriptions are related to Kadambas, Chalukyas, Rashtrakutas, Kalachuris, Seunas and Vijayanagar Empire.

Need for a thorough rewrite

[edit]

I note that many of the inscriptions listed here are in Sanskrit (e.g., Talagunda, Aihole), and some are in Middle Indic (e.g., Chandravalli). There is also a systematic conflation between inscriptions in the Kannada script (which is an imprecise category in itself) and inscriptions in the Kannada language. Many of the references are also bad or outdated. Aso2101 (talk) 00:49, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Enriching this page with collaborations

[edit]

I find an opportunity to work with the organizations such as "Kannada Itihaasa Academy to enrich Kannada inscriptions and other related topics on Wiki. Omshivaprakash (talk) 10:01, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
