I listened very carefully at the both song, Karamcoma and Melody, and I don't see a link between them. Could you tell me precisely when in Melody the bass is sampled?

Reply - This is in the Portishead remix only, as stated in the article.

References to culture

[edit]

I believe there unnoticed references in the music video. At 3:03 in the video on Youtube (link http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Vi76bxT7K6U#t=183s ) a woman who is much alike Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction (picture http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m95ij2kMpG1qlhuc9o1_500.jpg ). Please, discuss. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:1470:FACA:511:C0F7:3F6F:1E24:C976 (talk) 21:58, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The main body of this article may have been lifted directly from http://tripatlas.com/Karmacoma, or vice-versa.

The other possibility is that the author of this article is also the author of the above mentioned article - in which cast I am uncertain of the copyright ownership issues - if any. Kbdguy (talk) 16:14, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rhythm sample

[edit]

According to Who Sampled Who it comes from a Bollywood soundtrack, rather than Nusrat Ali Khan. Sounds correct to me. https://www.whosampled.com/Massive-Attack/Karmacoma/

Also, that reference to Borodin looks wrong. In fact, most of this section seems dubious. 2001:861:8B84:E80:F9F2:31D2:592C:D952 (talk) 08:19, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
