Categories

[edit]

I don't know much about snakes, so I hesitate to interfere with the categories, but I think the present arrangement is confusing. Most of the snakes are not in the category "Snakes". Instead, they are classified by families. This has already resulted in duplicate articles for Keelback and Keel Back and may have done the same for other snakes. Is there a better way of doing this? Overall quality

[edit]

The overall quality of the article was absolutely atrocious. For one thing, the list of species was woefully incomplete. For another, it only mentioned the most common Indian species, neglecting to mention many of the other snakes that are also called "keelbacks". I've changed the article so that it points to the appropriate pages for all the genera that, as far as I know, are referred to as keelbacks. Cgkanchi (talk) 22:55, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect

[edit]

As the article said at its beginning, "keelbacks" refers to Natricinae, so I simply redirected the name to that article. I didn't notice any special content in this article that needed to be kept or merged into that one, except the need to mention there that some members of Natricinae are known as keelbacks. —BarrelProof (talk) 21:49, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
