Native Slavery Allegation

I removed the following passage from the article:

Remaining natives who lived around the Kingston area fled immediately to other tribes in New England and those who stayed behind were sold into slavery by Plymouth Colony settlers.

I would like to see a citation for this before it is returned to the article. --AStanhope 03:57, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Town song "Independence"

I deleted the line "as well as the subject of the town's song, "Independence"." because there's no mention of it in any published town history or in any searchable record in the Kingston Public Library's Local History Room.
