Knowlton's Rangers - Harlem Heights

"They stumbled upon the Black Watch, an elite Highlander British unit with an attachment of Hessians"

As stated in on the Thomas Knowlton talk page, this is not accurate. The cited source there- Special Operations in the American Revolution(Tonsetic, Robert L. 2013) contains numerous errors in its account of Harlem Heights.

Reference to the somewhat improved 'Battle of Harlem Heights' article and the sources sited there, notably Johnson, Henry P., (1897), contain more reliable information. JF42 (talk) 17:23, 7 January 2018 (UTC)JF42 (talk) 18:13, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
