[edit]The Vulcan Krewe, which I'd never heard of after living my whole life in New Orleans, is apparently a real group that celebrates some sort of a winter festival in a section of downtown St. Paul, MN. By their own admission [1], they seem to be utterly unknown just outside of that downtown area. There is no article in the Wikipedia and probably won't be under Wikipedia guidelines. I removed the reference. See fancruft, WP:STUPID Economy1 13:44, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

Wild Chapatulas
[edit]"Wild Chapatulas" is definitely the name of a band and of a song they recorded. It refers to a 'krewe,' but that krewe may be fictitious. It is implied that the Chapatulas are an Indian tribe--again evidently fictitious.

There is a "Jaqimo fino" reference here too, for which see also "My Grandma and Your Grandma."

Needs to be beefed up
[edit]This article is so sparse! I would like to see much more, such as the relation to social position and to race, as well as changes in these over the past century. 2A02:1210:2642:4A00:300B:83D8:AC57:44DB (talk) 19:21, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
