This is an encyclopedia. The content I am removing is trivial and unencyclopedic. You don't see list of every medical shops and textile shops in an article about a village/town. Please take a look at other articles on places in Wikipedia, especially featured articles. Thanks. Salih (talk) 16:41, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And are you the CEO of Wikipedia to vandalise articles here. There is nothing in this article that is wrong wrt Kumbanad village. Kumbanad is a tiny hamlet and whatever little there is to write about Kumbanad has been written here and will continue to be written. Do not try to enforce your personal likes and dislikes here. If you have anything to add, add it to the article, you are welcome, but do not scam the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.57.150.68 (talk) 11:43, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Of course I am not CEO of Wikipedia; I don't intent to be one also :) I think you have not understood the spirit of Wikipedia. Please make yourself familiar with the policies of Wikipedia. I suggest you read WP:NOT. Salih (talk) 13:50, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unwanted and incorrect information

[edit]

Most of the information presented are unwanted, like list of medical stores, bakeries, studios etc. This article claims that Kumbanad is a village in Pathanamthitta district. Can you provide any reference that there is such a village in the district? It also looks like there are one or two users who won't let others to edit this article. There is, however a good scope for this to be a good article, considering the history and other interesting facts. Mathew Joy (talk) 11:37, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've tried a couple of times to improve the article by wikilinking and removing the trivial material, but some IP's are not letting me to do it. It seems they don't understand... Got tired and just stop editing the article. Salih (talk) 15:09, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article doesn't have any meaningful content at all. So, rated with Start. Trivial content such as "How to reach Kumbanad", "Banks/ATMs" should be removed. Please check Category:FA-Class Indian cities articles, Category:A-Class Indian cities articles, and Category:GA-Class Indian cities articles for similar models.
