Reply / Contested Dispute for Speedy Deletion
[edit]Upon creation, this article was nominated for speedy deletion based on criterion for speedy deletion as an article about a company, corporation, organization, or group that does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject. Breaking down the nomination, I would assume the administrator believes that the article does not indicate the importance or significance of the organization. I contest this nomination; however, I do understand that not enough material may not have been presented, in which case, I submit this article is a stub and not a candidate for speedy deletion.
The subject of this article is:
- a non-profit organization founded in 2003. Since that time, this organization has provided support and sponsorship to make a difference in the lives of numerous children in Kenya.
- The organization is a key topic/subject of an award-winning documentary film, which brings "significance to the subject".
- Its founder was awarded a Gold Award from the Federal Executive Board[1] for the work in founding and supporting Kupenda.[2]

The concern for Unreferenced for 13 years. No significant coverage to meet WP:ORG, is an appropriate concern. I have evaluated several outside sources, provided links and article connections to existing Wikipedia articles to more fully describe the value and notability of the organization and I welcome feedback, with the desired outcome to keep the article. djharrity 17:01, 06 February 2023 (UTC)
