Comment

[edit]

-I don't think Nacy Silverton owns La Brea Bakery any more. Although she started it, I think it is owned by a corporation now.

The owner isn't significant to this article, no matter who it is, so I've removed it. -Will Beback 05:51, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe La Brea Avenue and Hawthorne Boulevard pages should be merged

[edit]

Together they consitute a very long street in Los Angeles, and they are both the same street with a name change at Century Blvd. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Deuce1980 (talkcontribs) 19:43, 7 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Geography error?

[edit]

In its northern-most reaches, La Brea was Arroyo La Brea, coming from a (now capped) spring in the Santa Monica mnts. That is what helped form the original reservoir in what is now Hahn Park.

Umm, the Hahn recreation area isn't near the Santa Monica Mountains at all. Donald Hosek 00:25, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Museums on La Brea?

[edit]

There are virtually no museums on La Brea like the article states. In fact, Museum Row is at Wilshire and Fairfax, a mile from La Brea. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.85.7.106 (talk) 11:59, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
