Spelling

Is this locale actually spelled with a double-L? The English word is "pavilion". — Randall Bart ^(talk) 19:01, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've looked for an authoritative answer for this, but can't find a completely watertight case. Google page counts favour one 'l' by a ratio of about three to one; pages like this one and this one are about the best I can find, and also point to one 'l'.
