"comic" versus "sitcom"[edit]

Laredo did, indeed, have comic elements. But they're low-key. The show isn't remotely a "sitcom". Whoever wrote this is indulging in the sort of OR Wikipedia is supposed to object to. The Andy Griffith Show is more of an understated family drama than a sitcom. Does its annoying laugh track make it a sitcom? WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 11:14, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The pilot episode[edit]

Trampas (Doug McClure) from Shiloh is passing through Laredo to pick up a prize bull in Mexico and joins Reece, Brown and Smith as they track down killers who robbed a train and more killers who are selling guns to Indians. After a number of adventures, he accomplishes this and takes the bull back to Shiloh, and the rest of the Virginian cast are in the show at the end of it.(188.79.46.114 (talk) 18:02, 12 March 2022 (UTC))[reply]
