Proposal to Merge with Leadership or Stubify

Limited scope

[edit]

The limitation of leadership styles to the four chosen appears to be arbitrary, but the article presents these four as a comprehensive coverage of all leadership. Unless some reliable source can give evidence that these four styles are the widely accepted styles, then this article may not be valid, as the scope of possible leadership styles would be too broad. Lacking integrity

[edit]

In addition to the comment above, there is an existing section on leadership styles in the Leadership article that makes references to this one, however, the styles do not completely correspond to the four mentioned here. In particular, the Leadership article also mentions an "engaging", "narcissistic" and "toxic" styles of leadership. I would recommend either fleshing out this page to include all styles of leadership, and revisiting the Styles section in Leadership to make better references, or, removing this page completely and move all content over to the Leadership article. Democratic Leadership

[edit]

Traits of a Good Leader compiled by the Santa Clara University and the Tom Peters Group should not be posted under "Democratic Leadership," as the listed traits are not specific to this style of leadership. Their currently location is biased and propagandic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Walterp1982 (talkcontribs) 12:33, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
