Hello! I am planning some additions to this page, and wanted to share them here before posting them on the main page. The page gives some great base information of the LJW, but there are some sources that I looked into that can be used to expand in this. I will be drawing from Nation, Religion, Gender: The Triple Challenge of Middle-Class German-Jewish Women in World War I by Martina Steer, which was published by Cambridge University Press.[1] I think the article would benefit from more detail on how the LJW grew to be a huge organization in a very short period of time, more specifically that the organization was comprised of 50,000 Jewish women by 1928. I also plan on going into more detail on the goals of the LJW, particularly in addressing prostitution and women's trafficking. Steer also goes into some detail on how the organization addressed antisemitism, which is an important factor. Finally I plan on adding to the Goals section by detailing how the organization helped provide and advocated for education, safe housing, and religious practice. In total, the edits that I have planned should be between 200 and 300 words. I am by no means an expert on the topic, and am open to any feedback and ideas! I would be happy to discuss any issues, changes, or ideas here on this talk page, or on my personal talk page. Thanks!! Whoski (talk) 05:02, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
