Merge proposal
[edit]...of Leslie Odom Jr (album). I am not convinced that the article about the album has standalone notability, let alone reasonable prospects of expansion. Tigraan (talk) 14:58, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- From user: circusfreak8- at the same time, the album has gotten a lot of attention since Hamilton opened, and it's not like there aren't other album pages that have even less content (i.e. This Is The Life (Norm Lewis Album), Here (Idina Menzel album), CLPPNG.) The only real difference is that those have pictures of the album cover. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.102.170.80 (talk) 16:10, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- If the album had "gotten a lot of attention", there would be things to be written about it and sources. I found neither, though it may just be that searching for an album named after its (famous) author yields tons of false positives. As for the other album pages, that is an invalid argument per Wikipedia's guidelines. Tigraan (talk) 16:16, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- It does have references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.102.170.80 (talk) 13:07, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
- Those references are Kickstarter (self-published content), soundcloud and Amazon. While they do establish the existence of the album, they do not establish that it is notable. If you are new here, please read WP:N and WP:NALBUMS. Tigraan (talk) 11:26, 14 April 2016 (UTC)

- Support: Unless some reviews of the album from reliable sources can be found, I agree that the article should be merged, and Tigraan's point about WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is correct: there are literally thousands of other album and song articles on Wikipedia that really should be culled either by deletion or by merging, as they fail notability, and the examples provided by circusfreak8 fall into this category as well. - Support Merge - There's very little here, and very little sourcing. Unless that changes, I think this information is better served as a small subsection at the main article. Sergecross73 msg me 18:47, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

- Support - this seems to fit perfectly the Album notability guideline as an article that is unlikeley to progress beyond a stub and should be merged with the artist entry.Martinlc (talk) 11:51, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
Move details of wife's career to her own page?
[edit]The final sentence of Leslie Odom Jr.'s "Personal Life" section is entirely about his wife's career. She has her own page; shouldn't this by rights go there, and not here? These aren't joint projects or projects in which he is involved in any way, nor do these specific projects impact their life as a couple, as far as I can tell, so their discussion on his page strikes me as off-topic. But, I'm not Wiki-savvy enough to feel comfortable being the one to make that call. Wilburchloe (talk) 09:47, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
