What a disappointment! Well, maybe I can help. When folks were looking for the Northwest Passage from the ocean, somebody found a big ol' river. But the Columbia sandbar made it real hard to find it again. Further attempts at exploration lead to disappointment - one of them on a cape just north of the Columbia. I read that, I think, in the book called "Oregon" by Judy Jewell. I'll try to look it up and attach names and dates. -Pete 02:29, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Redirects to here

I get disappointed (pun unintended) every time I click a link to something like Fort Canby and it redirects here and then there's no info. What's the the inspiration behind the redirects? Can't we have separate articles on some of these places and make a "see also" with a link to this article? We need info on:
