Extent of Leyton Marsh

[edit]

Is it Leyton Marsh or Marshes? But more important, what is the extent of the Marsh? The article previously suggested that Lea Bridge Road is the eastern boundary, but the Marsh Lane area is regarded as part of Leyton Marsh. So were the two nature reserves on the old filter beds, but now perhaps they don't belong here, as they now have a well defined separate identity. Any views? ProfDEH (talk) 21:02, 18 March 2008 (UTC) Today it's been changed to "the" Leyton Marshes. I do not think that is right. There's no "the" in Hackney Marshes for sure. Other parts of the country might have different usage but I feel pretty sure the definite article is redundant here. User:Ground_Zero, I'm going to revert it unless you know something I don't. It should be changed to Leyton Marsh. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LilLeeVs (talkcontribs) 20:28, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
