Olympic sport?[edit]

I've heard that this will be included in the 2012 Olympics in London. Is this true? (talk) 23:36, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

While Wikipedia's not an instruction guide, some notes on technique would be informative, especially given how it is possible to limbo under surprisingly low poles. M0ffx (talk) 22:32, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

You make a good pint, it would be good for the wiki page on limbo dancing to explain the science/physics/biology??? behind how it is possible for the human body to limber so low off the ground.

Are there any official "Rules of the Game"?[edit]

Hi, in German media there is an ongoing discussion about the rules/techniques of the Limbo dance (or it only a party game, after all)? This might well explain the spike in page views this article currently enjoys. Explanation: On a famous live TV game show, a candidate claimed that per Wikipedia, the goal of the limbo dance was to move under a bar without the hands or butt touching the ground. Knees would be allowed, and she ended up winning a trip to Hawaii by robbing under the bar on her knees. I know that Wikipedia is not a how-to guide, but is there anyone who could clarify? --FoxyOrange (talk) 12:55, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Good point, if the wiki page on limbo dancing doesn't contain some idea of the rules re the limbo dance it should.
