Talk:List of English settings of Magnificats and Nunc dimittis

Not convinced this should be called “English Settings of Mags/Nuncs.” Any such list should include Stanford, who was Irish. Should either be “English Language” - which excludes Latin or other language settings (a reasonable distinction) Or include Latin as well - to allow more recent composers like Donbrinka Tabackova and others who have set the evening canticles in Latin. In which case title best “List of complete settings of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis” (Better to distinguish these as complete, intended settings; rather than include the myriad renaissance composers who may have composed a Latin Magnificat, or a latin Nunc Dimittis, who’s work sometimes gets thrust together to invent a pair.
