Vandalism?[edit]

Excuse me, Montgomery, but could you explain why you believe my edit to be vandalism? Before, Gurgle was said to be a fairy basslet, and all I did was change that to say that he was instead a royal gramma, which is the species of fairy basslet that he appears to be. If you've already made some sort of decision on his species, please tell me, instead of just reverting. 69.205.191.64 (talk) 14:48, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're absolutely correct. I think people undo edits without even checking their validity. Yes, Gurgle's link should go straight to the Gramma loreto page, as that is definitely his species. BellatrixKidriver (talk) 18:58, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bernie[edit]

The green crab played by Rove McManus is listed here as "Bernie". Is there a source for that name? The character isn't named in the movie's credits. -- Danny (talk) 15:12, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It said so in "The Essential Guide to Finding Nemo". 67.182.183.25 (talk) 16:15, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Coral as a Major or Minor Character[edit]

Can Coral really be considered a major character? Does anyone else know something about her that I don't? She showed up for what, the first three to four minutes of the movie before getting killed off? What's the criteria being used here to determine what makes a character major or minor? -- User:192.103.41.201 13 August 2007

Origin of "Nemo"[edit]

I don't recall it being made explicit in the film that "Nemo" comes from "anemone." Could it not just as easily be a reference to Verne's Captain Nemo (a nautical theme) and/or to the Latin origin of his name (Lat. nemo= "no one")?

Crush?[edit]

I just noticed the article calls crush a sea turtle. But shouldn't it really be a green sea turtle? Because that is what he is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.121.1.4 (talk) 13:35, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gull species[edit]

The gulls in Finding Nemo do not have any red on their beaks like Pacific Gulls. There are no Australian gulls with an entirely yellow beak. Gemfyre (talk) 12:04, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bruce[edit]

Am I the only one noticing an uncanny resemblence between Bruce the shark and his friends, and Bruce from the philosophers sketch (Monty Python)? --tonis1 (talk) 09:35, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

@Spareproud: Create a draft article at Draft:List of Finding Nemo characters using the WP:AfC process and when you feel it is sufficiently sourced and can show notability and it is ready, submit it for approval as an article to be moved to mainspace.
