[edit]I have inserted details of the builders and construction dates for all RN Flower class and Modified Flower class corvettes. Rif Winfield 16:16, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
I have now done the same for all RCN Flower class and Modified Flower class corvettes (except that I do not have commencement dates for their construction, so please insert these if you have them). I have also grouped the RN and RCN vessels according to the annual proigrammes under which they were ordered, which is more useful than a simplistic alphabetical order. I am quite content with the idea of merging this list with the general article on [Flower Class corvettes], as long as none of the data supplied is omitted. - I am curious about the entry for the RCN HMCS Eyebright. My father (deceased 1999) always claimed that he was Captain in the last months up until he "beached" the ship as it was to be scrapped. This was one of the few stories of his time in service that he would share, along with a handful of Eyebright mementos. He told me that he took exception to a similar entry in a book, which also neglected to list him among the serving Captains, and wrote to the author but never received a response. It appears that the ship was refloated but there is no commentary about that.Extraordinary Spaces (talk) 05:49, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
Merge tag
[edit]There is a Merge tag on the Ships section of the Flower-class corvette article which links here, but no discussion has been opened yet. I've raised the issue on the other talk page if anyone wishes to comment. Xyl 54 (talk) 00:44, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
